Following the lead of some of our wonderful Hewitt families, we would love to launch a school-wide initiative called "Hugs & Kisses From Hewitt". I know we are all looking for ways to give back--and to keep our children entertained--and this will help us accomplish both of those things!
We are asking our students to make thank you cards and drawings for patients and for our frontline workers. It is a creative activity that is fun for the children, but it is also a great way to express our appreciation and show that we care.
We have included some coloring pages they can use (linked below and saved under "Files"), or they can feel free to design their own!
Our volunteers will attach a bag of Hershey kisses to each card with a tag that says "Hugs & Kisses from Hewitt".
Cards can be dropped off at 69 Lakeview Avenue.
Please help us lift the spirits of the helpers and patients in our community!
